This notice explains what Compalley Ltd collects through Prepare2Lead, why it is used, who receives it and the choices available to you.

1. Who controls your information

Compalley Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through Prepare2Lead.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Prepare2Lead, we may collect:

  • Your name, email address and any information you send through an enquiry.
  • Your Career Blocker Check answers, target level, result, scores, referral information and recorded email consent.
  • Membership and account information supplied through Skool.
  • Transaction records needed to administer a purchase, while payment card details remain with the payment provider.
  • Technical information needed for site security, delivery and troubleshooting, such as IP address, browser and request logs.
  • Communications, complaints, support requests and records of how they were resolved.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use Career Blocker Check contacts as Compalley corporate-sales leads.

4. Who processes information for us

We use service providers only where needed to operate the service:

  • Mailchimp for email contact records, tagging and email journeys.
  • Skool for community membership and member access.
  • Stripe or the checkout provider used by Skool for payment processing.
  • OpenAI and its hosting infrastructure providers, including Cloudflare, for delivery, security and operation of this website.
  • Professional advisers, regulators or public authorities where the law requires it.

If you follow a link to the Compalley Exam Centre or PeopleCert, that service will provide its own privacy information for the data it collects.

5. International transfers

Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. When this happens, we require an appropriate transfer mechanism or other safeguard recognised by UK data-protection law.

6. How long we keep information

  • Career Blocker Check and email-guidance records are kept while you remain subscribed or there is a continuing relationship. Inactive records are reviewed and normally removed after 24 months.
  • If you unsubscribe, we may keep the minimum suppression record needed to ensure you are not emailed again.
  • Enquiries with no continuing relationship are normally removed after 24 months.
  • Transaction and accounting records are normally retained for six years where required for tax, accounting or legal purposes.
  • Security logs are retained for the shortest period reasonably needed to investigate abuse and keep the service reliable.

7. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Email hello@prepare2lead.com and identify the information or concern clearly. We may need to confirm your identity before disclosing personal information.

8. Data-protection complaints

You can raise a data-protection complaint using the same email address. We will acknowledge it within 30 days, investigate it and explain the outcome. We keep a controlled record of the complaint and action taken.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

9. Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when the service, suppliers or legal requirements change. The current version and date will remain on this page.
